Private Violin, Viola, and Cello Lessons
Ages: 3-Adult
Snyder School of Singing is excited to offer private violin, viola, and cello lessons! Our strings lessons are open to anyone regardless of age or experience level. Lessons on a string instrument are a great way to begin your child’s musical journey and can serve as a springboard to other musical experiences. School-age students are expected to attend lessons weekly, while adults can study on a more flexible schedule. At-home practice and preparation is required. Students will need an instrument on which to practice, and violin/viola students will need a Kun or Everest shoulder pad. Students in our private lessons program perform in two school recitals and several outreach concerts throughout the year. They also have the opportunity to be chosen to perform at our annual community holiday concert.
Each student receives a monthly evaluation from the teacher charting their progress and creating new goals for the following month.
All lessons at the SSS Studios take place in one of our teaching studios, which have a large window for observation. Parents are welcome to observe lessons at any time without advance notice.
