Audition Information for SSS’s Annual ‘Tell Me A Story’ Cabaret

SSS’s ‘Tell Me A Story’ Cabaret is open to performers 18 and up.

Audition Date/Time/Location: Sunday, September 18, 6-7:30pm, Snyder School of Singing, 629 Bethlehem Pike

Rehearsals: Dress rehearsal: Sunday, October 19, 6-9pm, plus one individual rehearsal with Julie Snyder to be scheduled individually.

Performance Date: Saturday, October 25, 7:30pm, Snyder School of Singing, 629 Bethlehem Pike

To audition:

1. Email snyderschoolofsinging@gmail.com to request an audition time.

2. This year’s theme is “Questionable Villains.” Please prepare a song that somehow connects with this theme (some ideas: the artist who wrote the song is maligned but you still love the song; the song is sung by a character who is considered a villain but perhaps is more human than villainous… if you need a suggestion, feel free to ask for one when you request an audition!) and be prepared to explain why you chose this song, how it fits the theme, how it resonates with you, etc. Please bring sheet music; a pianist will be provided.
