What sets us apart?

Voice-specific instruction. At Snyder School of Singing, we believe in training our singers to meet the multifaceted demands of today’s music industry. Our students have access to the highest quality voice instruction, and they can broaden their musical skills by studying piano and guitar. A top-notch acting program enables them to become singing-actors, while songwriting allows them to unlock their creativity.

Experienced and knowledgeable faculty. As a former voice professor at Temple University, Dr. Snyder is uniquely positioned to understand the expectations placed on college music and musical theater majors as well as working professionals, and can ready her younger students to meet them. Dr. Snyder and her voice instructors prioritize healthy singing technique and are comfortable teaching in both classical and contemporary styles. They prioritize independent musicianship through an emphasis on the fundamentals of music reading. Dr. Snyder and her instructors are working professionals in the classical music and musical theater scenes and have current knowledge of vocal styles, repertoire and audition trends.

Community connections. Dr. Snyder is proud to be a resident of Springfield Township and loves connecting her clients with local performance opportunities. She is directly involved in every facet of Snyder School of Singing’s operation. The school prides itself on having faculty who are invested in the building of a “safe space” community within the school. Snyder School of Singing strives to give back to the local community through performances, corporate sponsorships, and charitable events.
